This was my first time to actually see The White House up close. It was very exciting for Robby & me. (Bobby stayed in the van with Johnny, who was sound asleep.)
I couldn't wait to take Robby to the Lincoln Memorial since he has learned about it in school this year (& facts about President Lincoln.) This was his reaction. Ha! I love it! He was awestruck.
All excited, waiting to climb the steps to see the statue of President Lincoln.
The
cherry blossoms were, obviously, in full bloom during our visit. Gorgeous, absolutely
