Guess what Robby learned to do?

No more training wheels!! Do you remember that we met Sher, Joe, and the kids at Riverpark on Easter Sunday? Well, Hannah and Chloe, their two youngest children, must have really inspired Robby. He saw how they rode their bikes so well without training wheels. That evening he told me he was "ready" to ride on his own. I removed the training wheels and "lessons" began on Monday afternoon. These pictures were taken the very next day. He's a quick learner. And, Robby has always just been a natural behind the wheel of any riding toy, so this was a pretty easy transition for him. Way to go, Robby!

How exciting!
He made sure he rode back and forth in front of Clyde and Allan . . . for their approval. Of course they cheered for him. :)

Robby had no trouble navigating turns.

It's kind-of hard to videotape and take pictures at the same time while cheering for Robby, watching for cars, and supervising Johnny. Oh well, that's what being a Mom is all about!

Can't you just see the excitement in his face? I only wish Bobby could be here to see. (Of all weeks for him to work out of town!!)

"It's a piece of cake, Mom."

Cruising past Clyde's house yet again. Ha! It was so precious when he rode past Clyde, who was raking leaves, and shouted, "Clyde, look at me!!"

What a pro!
